Litword Daily Thursday, 02 October 2025.TRUST GOD’S WORD: His word never failsIn life, we often find ourselves toiling and working hard for something, only to come up empty- handed. We try and try again, but nothing seems to work out. If it can be frustrating and discouraging, and we may feel like giving up.
IN Luke 5:5 Peter and his companions had been fishing all night without catching anything. They were tired and probably feeling hopeless. But when Jesus told them to lower their net again, Simon Peter said, “ Nevertheless , at thy word I will let down the net.”
Simon has faith in Jesus’ words, even though it seemed illogical to try again after a whole night of fishing with no success. But because he trusted in Jesus , they ended up catching so many fish that their nets began to break.
Sometimes, God ask you to do something illogical or difficult to do on your own. He may call us to take a risk to pursues a new path or to hold on a little longer. But just as Simon Peter trusted in Jesus’ word, we too can trust in Jesus’ words and promises.
When we encounter challenges and hardships, we can turn to God’s word for comfort and guidance, we can pray and ask for his wisdom and strength.
And trust that He will guide us through any situation, let us have faith like Simon Peter, and trust in God’s word even when things seems impossible.
Psalm 138:2 (KJV): I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Everyone who has fully committed themselves to the Word of God has proven its effectiveness. The Word of God never fails because it is the absolute expression of His power. To affirm this truth, God exalted His Word above His own name.
What does this mean?
God’s name represents His identity and nature. For example, when we say Jehovah Jireh, we do not merely mean that He Is a provider, but that provision is His very nature. When we say Jehovah Shalom, we are not just referring to the fact that He gives peace, but that peace is His nature.
If His Word is exalted above His name, then for His Word to fail, He must first cease to be Shalom. As Jehovah Jireh, He would have to cease to be a provider for His Word to fail. Literally, this means that God would have to cease to exist for His Word to fail. Such is the integrity of His Word. His Word is not just His bond—it is His very essence.
Can God cease to exist? The answer is no, as such, His Word cannot fail.
For this reason, the Word of God cannot pass away (Matthew 24:35). Everything else in life can be shaken, but not His Word.
Choose to believe Him when He says you are healed. Choose to believe Him when He says you are wealthy. Choose to believe Him when He says you are a success. Choose to believe Him when He says you cannot fail. Choose to believe Him when He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Choose to believe!

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this Word. I have seen and experienced Your faithfulness. You are true, and Your promises can never fail. I have made the choice to believe in You. You fulfill what You have spoken because that is who You are. I will always trust and lean on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.Still remains your brother, Ap. Emma Expressing life in the word
