Litword Daily                      [25/03/2026]Created in Christ for good works——————————————————-Romans 8:3 (NKJV): “For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,…..”When God first gave the law, He wanted men to know what evil is and avoid it and do only what is right. However, they ended up doing the opposite because the human flesh was weak and could not do what the law required. Instead the evil desires had more power over the flesh and mind than the law. So, much as the law was good and spiritual, it became weak and ineffective because of the human weakness. Therefore, God decided to first deal with human weakness. So on that day Jesus’ flesh was being Crucified, God was dealing with the human weakness which comes through the flesh.Colossians 2:11 (NKJV): “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,…”That’s why our opening scripture says, Romans 8:3 (NKJV): “For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, God was putting an end to the power of the flesh. He crucified the flesh and it’s evil desires. Hallelujah Besides the human flesh being weak, the law also lacked the ability to cause someone to do what is right, yes, the law would tell you that is is good and this is evil but it had no power. So God made sure that His spirit in Jesus, the spirit who has power, first fulfilled all the laws,  and after fulfilling all the laws, God removed that righteous Spirit in him who already accomplished the requirements of the law and placed it in us.  And that is the spirit Who causes us to walk as righteous men and women. That’s why 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”Now our righteousness does not come from the law or from the working of the flesh but from the Spirit of Christ dwelling in the inside of us. (Philippians 3:9) This spirit who has already fulfilled the law and has power over the flesh. That’s why the Bible says, no one will be justified by the works of the law.Romans 3:20 (NKJV):Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. The spirit God has put in us comes with a complete righteousness and our duty is to just flow in it. You don’t need to struggle that you’re following a certain law or command. It’s now our nature to do right. That’s why the Bible says, you are created in Christ for good works in which the Father declared before the foundation of the world. Hallelujah.Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV): For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. AdmonitionIt’s wrong to think that, after receiving Christ, we are no longer living according to the law so we can do anything and in any way we want. No, that’s an error. You are supposed to flow in the righteousness that supercedes even what the law requires because that’s what we’re created in Christ for, good works. Not because there is a certain law forcing us to do but because it’s our way of life in Christ Jesus. HallelujahThat’s why Romans 8:4 continues and says ” that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”So you are created in Christ for good works which comes through the spirit of Christ in you not through obeying what the law required. The law is already fulfilled in you. Hallelujah.PrayerHeavenly Father, I thank you for what you have done on the Cross for me. You destroyed my flesh and its evil desires in Christ Jesus when you crucified his flesh, now I no longer follow what is dead but the spirit who has defeated death and is alive in me. My righteousness is not of me but of that same spirit. I am alive and full of  righteousness, grace, peace and joy. In Jesus’ name, AmenFurther studies: Romans 3:22,  Isaiah 54:17,   2 Corinthians 5:21Still remain your friend,Otim Brian Sundison Powered by: Heavenly Atmosphere, Expressing the life in the word
