Litword Daily          [27th/04/2026]Guard your heartProverbs 4:23Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.Everything that happens in a man’s life first passes through his heart. If his heart is able to discern the matter, then he will be able to deal with it accordingly. But if his heart is crowded with many worthless things, he may not be able to discern, and then everything will start happening suddenly in his life. That’s why the Bible says, Proverbs 22:3 “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”The prudent are able to foresee (discern) danger not because they are very wise; it’s because their hearts are aligned with the Word of God, who reveals all things. Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from His sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. So by all means, the prudent get to know what is happening in their life or what is about to happen — whether by vision, dreams, or perception. The Word will reveal it to them, and they will take precautions. And what could have taken their life will not be able to succeed. Hallelujah.Meanwhile, the simpletons are not able to discern, not because they are stupid, but because their hearts are filled with the worthless things of this world and the Word of God has no place in them — the Word who could have helped them. Because of that, their life is in total darkness, a total eclipse. That’s why they can’t dream anything meaningful; they dream about things that don’t help them. In fact, even if they dream anything meaningful, they are not able to interpret it and know how to intervene. So they live in a tunnel of darkness. That’s why the scripture say, Romans 12:2 Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect. But if you allow the things of this world to fill your heart, it will contaminate it and you will not be able to discern. So, guard your heart. Don’t just let anything take a place in your heart. What fills your heart affects your life. That’s why the Scripture says, Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.PrayerHeavenly Father, I thank You for Your wonderful Word. May it take root in me and help me become who You say I am. I don’t belong to the world anymore, and therefore I no longer need advice from the world. May Your Word lead me all the days of my life so that I will be able to discern. In Jesus’ name, Amen.Further Study: Proverbs 4:7Still remain your friend,Otim Brian Sundison Courtesy of: Heavenly Atmosphere, Expressing the life in the word
