Litword Daily                      [21st/02/2026]The Judgment seat Luke 15:1-2 (NKJV): ¹ Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. ² And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, This Man receives sinners and eats with them. How you perceive a person or his ideas is so important because it will determine what impact he will make in your life. That’s why it’s important as a Christian to clear your mind and stop making judgments without proper reasoning with the word of God.In the opening scripture above, it tells us that the tax collectors or the people we would term as pagans were always drawing closer to Jesus to try and listen to Him, while the Pharesees were always looking for a reason to criticize Him. That means in the minds of the tax collectors, they weren’t sure about what Jesus was saying and they were also not quick to make judgements but they wanted to first listen and understand Him. On the other hand, the Pharesees had already made judgement about Jesus and His doctrine, so whenever they drew closer to Him, the interest is not in trying to understand what he says, but rather to get more reasons to criticize Him and prove their points. That’s why, when you read in Luke 14:4, Jesus heals a man, and you would think everybody is going to be happy with it but rather the Pharesees were like, “why do that on the Sabbath?” So you see, because their hearts are set on criticism, even the very thing they should celebrate, they are now condemning it.So because of that, more pagans and tax collectors received salvation because they understood and believed in the words of Jesus mean while many Pharesees who were much closer to church and Jesus, never received salvation. It’s the same thing with many believers today, they have already made judgements about certain people basing on the rumours they heard from other people who also heard it from someone and now they hate the people who should help them.So whenever they try to listen to them, their hearts are not set in understanding what the preacher or pastor or prophet is saying, no they are waiting for the man to do something so that they say, “I knew from the beginning that he is not a good person!” That is why pagans when they believe they  receive miracles faster than some believers, because they listen with a neutral mind, ready to understand before they make any judgement while the believers have already finished making judgments before the service even began. They say, if it’s brother so and so, I will not be blessed, if it’s sister so and so leading the service, I already count it a wasted day”. That is not the way of the spirit.John 7:51 (NLT): Nicodemus asks, “Is it legal to convict a man before he is given a hearing?”.No, before you start speaking against that man or woman, first listen to him. Then make judgements basing on the scriptures and you will have done good. Hallelujah!AdmonitionIn 2 Kings 16:5-13, a man called Shimei son of Gera saw king David suffering and he thought in his heart that the Lord was punishing him for killing king Saul and his relatives, so Shimei kept moving after king David and cursing him, calling him names like murder, scoundrel, etc.He had no idea why David was going through what he was going through but in his heart, he was sure God was punishing him for murdering king Saul and his relatives. And he was wrong about his judgement, because you all know how he ended. The same thing with Job, when his three friends saw him suffering, they thought in their hearts that Job must have done something that has made God punish him like that. But all their judgments were without knowledge. And you know what, the Bible says, Matthew 7:2 “For with the same judgment that you judge, you will be judged, and with the same measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you.” Come out of the judgment seat.PrayerHeavenly Father, from today, I release all the people I have hated and ignored because of the judgements I made based on rumors and not facts. Now I make judgments based on your word and not my own understanding. In Jesus name I thank you for this wonderful revelation, Amen!🙏Further studies: James 1:19, Proverbs 18:13, 17Still remain your friend,Otim Brian SundisonCourtesy of; Heavenly Atmosphere, Expressing the life in the word
