The Anti Christ

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad

A story is given in the book of acts 13:6, where Paul and Barnabas went to a place called Paphos. And the ruler of that area called them to preach for him so that he could listen to their gospel.

But a certain Jew, a false prophet called BarJesus opposed them, and tried to stop the ruler from believing.

Now, most people think that Bar Jesus resisted them with force or may be spoke evil against Paul and Barnabas, but that’s not the case. Actually his name ‘Bar Jesus’ means ‘Son of Jesus’.

Paul went on to explain his act by saying, Acts 13:10 “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?”

This Man Bar Jesus didn’t persecute Paul and Barnabas like most people think the antichrist will behave.

But he was only using tricks to divert, and change the mind of the ruler. And it became very hard for the ruler to believe not until Bar Jesus was first dealt with.

Here is the point, Everytime you start doing things which diverts people’s attention from the gospel, you are behaving like the Anti Christ.

Many people are unknowingly operating under the Antichrist spirit. Like this fellow who sang that “I don’t believe in God oo!”
He thinks that he has made a great hit and wants everyone to love it, but he doesn’t know he’s under the influence of the Anti Christ spirit because his song separates people from God.

That’s why Jesus said, Mathew 12:30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Everytime you do something contrary to the gospel, you are operating like the Anti Christ, you are helping in scattering.

When a secular musician says, “it’s by God’s grace that I have reached where I am. It was only God.” Everybody feels touched and convinced that even that fellow belongs to God. Who told you?!

Most people still think that the Anti Christ is yet to come, because they are waiting for that one man who will oppose the Christians and bring the triple six. No, the bible has already made it clear that the Spirit of the Anti Christ is already at work.

1John 4:3: “and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.”

You see, John said, it is already in the world.

It’s main aim is to make sure he distract and confuse people very well so that they never believe or follow the way of truth, which is found in Christ Jesus.

That’s why you can be in the Church, the pastor is preaching, everyone is quite listening and then that’s when the children starts crying, someone gets up and starts walking out with the shoes making very loud noises. What is that, the spirit of the Anti Christ at work.

That’s the same spirit which speaks evil of pastors, priest, nuns and religious leaders. They did it to prophet Jeremiah too.

Jeremiah 18:18 Then the people said, “Come on, let’s plot a way to stop Jeremiah. We have plenty of priests and wise men and prophets. We don’t need him to teach the word and give us advice and prophecies. Let’s spread rumors about him and ignore what he says.”

And these are the very things they are still doing to the men of God even up to date. The same spirit still in operation.

His work is to make sure he takes aways people’s attention from the things concerning God.

Think about the time of Moses, Everytime Moses performed a Miracle, the magicians and sorcerers would also perform the same kind of miracle,

Exodus 7:22 But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh’s heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.

What were they trying to do? Their aim was to make Moses’ miracle look ordinary and at the end, the king would not listen to Him. That’s how the spirit of the antichrist operate. Just causing confusion and disbelief.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12: “Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

When you don’t believe in Jesus, the spirit of the antichrist takes charge of you at any moment, and the delusional power.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. God bless you.

You are indeed holy oh Lord, I thank you because I have known your ways and confess that nothing can separate me from loving you. For you have revealed this secret truth to us and we won’t allow ourselves to be used as an instrument of the antichrist. Thank you Jesus. Amen
